Eighth in a Series of Ornaments Now Available

Eighth in a Series of Ornaments Now Available Thursday, December 8, 2005

The eighth in a series of ornaments featuring the Saint Vincent Archabbey Basilica is now available in the Basilica Gift Shop, first floor of the Parish Center, adjacent to the Archabbey Basilica.

The ornament is one of a series of collectibles featuring aspects of the Saint Vincent Archabbey Basilica. The triptych window features Saint Vincent de Paul, a priest of seventeenth century Paris, who was noted for his work among the poor. His window is featured this year in honor of the one hundredth anniversary of the dedication of the Archabbey Basilica. Although Saint Vincent de Paul was not himself a Benedictine monk, Saint Vincent is the only Benedictine foundation under his patronage.

The Basilica Gift Shop is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays to Saturdays, 9 a.m. to noon and 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sundays. The ornament is also available by the Archabbeys online store, http://www.stvincentstore.com.
