Ten Benedictines to Celebrate Jubilees

 Ten Saint Vincent Benedictines are celebrating jubilees marking 450 years of service to the Monastic community this year.

Celebrating the 70th anniversary of his profession of vows on July 2 will be Father Bertin (Leo) Emling, O.S.B. Marking 60th jubilees will be Father Paulinus (Jerome) Selle, O.S.B., who was ordained July 16, 1939; Father Damian (Albert) Abbaticchio, O.S.B., who made profession of vows on July 2, 1939; and Father Julian (Francis) Burt, O.S.B., who professed vows on September 8, 1939.

Fifty-year anniversaries are being celebrated by Father Omer (Urban) Kline, O.S.B., who was ordained on June 12, 1949, and Brother Patrick (Robert) Lacey, who made profession of vows on July 2, 1949. Celebrating 25-year jubilees are Father Rene (Matthew) Kollar, O.S.B. and Father Thaddeus Rettger, O.S.B., who were ordained on May 18, 1974; and Father Chad (Robert) Ficorilli, O.S.B. and Father Ronald Gatman, O.S.B., who made profession of vows on July 10, 1974.
