Four Make First Vows

 Professing first vows on July 9 before Archabbot Douglas R. Nowicki, O.S.B., were, from left, Brother Romuald Duchene, O.S.B., Brother Michael Rumpf, O.S.B., Brother Isaac Paul Haywiser, O.S.B., and Brother Matthew Lambert, O.S.B. All have begun graduate studies at Saint Vincent Seminary. In addition to their studies, each junior monk has been given one or more work assignments.

Brother Romuald (Joseph) Duchene of Minneapolis, was named an assistant to the director, Facilities Management Office, and assistant archivist.

Brother Isaac (Paul) Haywiser of Bethel Park was named assistant to the manager, Gristmill General Store; assistant, summer retreat program; and assistant director, Archabbey guests and guest facilities.

Brother Matthew Clair Lambert of Idaho was named assistant building manager, monastery maintenance and was appointed a counselor in the Academic Affairs Office, Saint Vincent College.

Brother Michael Rumpf of Mars was appointed assistant to the director of the Saint Vincent College Bookstore and as an assistant in the summer retreat program.
